AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation entered Agreed Orders against individuals for violations related to unlicensed activity. A fine of $4,350 in administrative penalties was assessed.
Aaron Smith, d/b/a “Uncutt” The New Millenium in Dallas, Texas, was operating a barber shop and providing barber services but did not hold a Class A Barber license. Smith was also leasing space to John Mendez, Jamarron Woods and Johnathan McGilbra, who were performing barber services but did not hold booth rental licenses or certificates. An administrative penalty of $1500 was assessed Smith.
Anthony Warren of Katy, Texas, was cited for performing barber services without holding the required license. Warren was fined a $1000 administrative penalty.
Darien S. Anderson of Dallas, Texas, will pay a $500 penalty for working with an expired Class A Barber License.
Andrew Ramos of Waco, Texas, was leasing space on the premises of a barber shop without first obtaining a barber booth rental permit. Ramos received a $500 penalty for the violation.
Lastly, Alejandra Moreno, d/b/a Nuevo Estilo Beauty Salon in Irving, Texas, was assessed an administrative penalty of $750 for employing Maria Zai to act as an operator or specialist, but she did not possess the required license.###
