AUSTIN – The Texas Commission of Licensing and Regulation unanimously approved Chairman Frank Denton’s appointment of Tiffany Niemann of Fort Worth, Texas, to serve on the Polygraph Advisory Committee (Committee).
Tiffany Niemann, represents qualified polygraph examiners in a commercial field on the Committee. Niemann, a graduate of American International Institute of Polygraph in Morrow, Georgia, received her initial license in 2005 and was fully licensed in 2006. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas, and earned a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas – Permian Basin.
Niemann currently holds licenses in Texas as a Polygraph Examiner and as a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern. She is the owner of Tiffany Niemann Polygraph Services and is employed by Weatherford College as an instructor in the Psychology Department.
The 81st Legislature transferred Texas’ polygraph program to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). More than 270 Texans are licensed by the Department to perform polygraph examinations.
