Reporting Abandoned Nuisance Vehicles
A reminder for all vehicle storage facilities:
- report the abandonment of a nuisance vehicle to the local law agency where the vehicle is located and
- submit the report and the $10 fee to the law enforcement agency ten days after the first notice is mailed to the registered owner and primary lien holder.
Failure to do so is a violation of the Vehicle Storage Facilities Laws and Rules.
